Dr Jenny Butler participated in the International Society for Folk Narrative Research (ISFNR) Nature(s) in Narrative Conference at the Háskóli Íslands/University of Iceland
Dr Butler was also Co-Convenor of a SIEF Ritual Year Working Group panel on "Ritual Narratives: Animals and Plants in Ritual Contexts" with Mare Kõiva, Tatiana Minniyakhmetovai, and Irina Stahl.

The PRAXIS project is about Global Citizenship Education, knowledge exchange, cross-cultural understanding, the rights of land and non-human persons, interconnection of people and place, ancestral wisdom and indigenous knowledge.

On 4 June 2026, Dr Jenny Butler gave a lecture for the Swedenborg Library in Chicago on W.B. Yeats, Esotericism and Irish Nationalism in the Chicago Temple Building which is the tallest place of worship globally (as the steeple is atop a skyscraper).
